Shop Volunteer Application

A charity shop volunteer play a vital role in supporting the charity’s mission by helping to run the shop smoothly and providing excellent customer service. Volunteers assist with sorting, pricing donations, displaying items attractively, serving customers, and keeping the shop clean and welcoming. The time and effort help raise essential funds for the charity’s work, while also promoting sustainability by giving pre-loved items a new life.

Admin Volunteer

Office Volunteer Application

Admin volunteers at Mercy in Action’s offices or warehouse play a key role in keeping the charity’s operations running efficiently. Their tasks may include data entry, filing, answering calls, organising paperwork, or supporting logistics and stock management. It’s a great opportunity to contribute valuable skills, gain experience in a friendly team environment, and support the charity’s mission to help those in need.

Community Volunteer

Project Volunteer Application

Community volunteers with Mercy in Action’s Action Pantry, Clothesline, and community projects based in Bath help provide practical support to individuals and families through food and clothing distribution and other community initiatives. Volunteers might sort donations, assist visitors, prepare food parcels, or offer a friendly listening ear. Their compassion and commitment help create a welcoming environment where everyone is treated with dignity and care.

Global Volunteers

Global Volunteer Application

We take teams for the UK to the Philippines at least once a year and accept gap year students. These trips offer a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while visiting our projects first hand. Volunteers work alongside local communities and our team. By giving your time and skills, volunteers help create lasting, positive change while gaining unforgettable experiences and lifelong connections.
