Who are we?
Laura:I have been working with young mothers for the last 16 years. I started by running a toddler group in my early twenties, which led onto working at Off the Record as the young parents support worker. My husband and I went on to have three boys and fostered two older boys. Over the last six years we have had the privilege of being Supportive Lodgings providers with B&NES, where we have had three amazing teenage mothers and their babies live with us .When I’m not working or with my family I am more than likely to be out running. Laura is the founder and project lead for The Petra Project.
Mandy: Hello, My name is Mandy.  I am married and have two grown up sons.  I live in Bath and love this city very much. My background is in catering and hospitality but while my children were young I had the privilege of working as a childminder and then in Education. Most recently I enjoyed a job working with Sirona Care and Health facilitating ‘Cook It’ Courses in the local community. My hobbies include all things to do with food, French Boules, music and hosting Foreign Students in my home.
Abi: My name is Abigail and I am mother to an active and very funny 4 year old, Noah. I work in retail and have also been volunteering at a mother and baby group for 3 years, where I have had the amazing opportunity to  support new mums and their beautiful babies. When I am not working, I spend time with my son Noah and we like to have adventures together which include muddy walks, swimming, building dens, visiting friends and children’s church.
