Mercy in Action currently have 20 shops around the UK, with more planned to open soon.  The funds generated through the shops provide vital money for running many of our existing projects as well as allowing us to grow and develop new projects which otherwise would not be able to happen.  Our shops all offer the highest quality clothing, bric-a-brac, books, toys, furniture and more.

The success of our charity shops depends entirely on the generous donations of quality used goods, so please consider clearing out your wardrobe and dropping it into your local shop. We gladly accept all donations. Your unwanted items will go a long way in helping more children and families out of poverty in the Philippines.  Some of our shops are able to collect furniture donations – please contact your local shop to see if this is possible.

Our volunteers provide essential support to the managers in our shop – we couldn’t function without their hard work and commitment! All of our shops are in need of more volunteers, so why not have a chat with one of the managers? Whether you have several days a week spare, or just 1 hour, every little goes a long way. It’s fun, sociable and you will learn lots of new skills. In addition to this, you will know that you’re doing your bit to help some of the neediest people in the world. There’s roles to suit all skills and abilities, so pop into your local shop and find out where you can slot in.
