A Taste of the Philippines

St Luke’s Church, Wellsway, Bath, Friday 16th May, 7pm

Mercy in Action are hosting an authentic three course Filipino meal in aid of our projects in Cebu. The food will be cooked by a professional chef and will display the true delights of native Filipino cooking, which is rarely tasted in the UK. The night will also include entertainment, a silent auction and a ‘mocktail’ bar, so you can really feel like your basking on a beautiful island in the Philippines!

In addition to the food and merrymaking there will be an update by Mercy in Action’s directors about our projects in Cebu, as well as exciting plans for the future. The food themed silent auction will also offer lots of tempting treats for the foodies among you! All money raised will go towards our projects rescuing street children in the Philippines.

Tickets for this fantastic event are only £18! You definitely wouldn’t find that on the high street! For more information or to purchase your tickets, please call our office on 01225 443600 or Felicity on 07584 282939.

If you or your business could offer any prizes for the auction, please email Felicity: f.poulton@mercyinaction.org.uk

A wonderful evening, congratulations to all involved! We loved the food, mocktails and decor, not to mention the great prizes in the auction and raffle. We had great fun and those on my table who weren’t familiar with MiA’s work were very impressed. A lot of effort had clearly been put into this event, so thanks to everyone. I hope a lot of money was raised too …
