Mercy in Action’s Hope & Poverty Art Exhibition

Next February, Mercy in Action will be organising a week long art exhibition at the Paintworks in Bristol, based on the theme of Poverty & Hope.  This will be a fantastic opportunity for MiA to create awareness of the work that we are doing, whilst showcasing work by different artists.  There will be a range of events and workshops taking place over this week which we will update you on as the event draws closer.

Our aim for this exhibition, as well as being an interesting event for those who already   support us to enjoy, is to expand the profile of these important issues, and to gain new   supporters for MiA.  It is equally an opportunity for the profile of local talented artists to be expanded.  We are asking artists to donate a piece of work that reflects the theme of    poverty and/or hope.  We will be accepting all types of art including paintings, photographs, graphic design and sculptures.

If you are an artist that would be willing to donate a piece of your work to this event, then please contact Jo at the office for more information:

All funds raised from this exhibition will go towards our new drop-in centre.
